LASIK in Northern New Jersey

Kremer Eye Center offers exclusively bladeless LASIK using the iLASIK platform, powered by iDESIGN and iFS bladeless laser technology. Treatment is completely customized to each individual patient’s unique eye anatomy and vision goals.

Prior to laser treatment, the team takes precise measurements of the patient’s eye using WaveFront-guided technology. This information produces a detailed map or blueprint of the patient’s unique optical system, including minute imperfections that affect how the eye processes light. The information from the blueprint is then used to guide the laser treatment. A femtosecond laser creates a very thin flap in the surface of the cornea, and the flap is gently folded back to reveal the underlying tissue. An excimer laser meticulously reshapes the cornea to the desired curvature. Once the cornea has been reshaped, the flap is restored to its original position, where it heals itself.

In addition to treatment for refractive errors, Kremer Eye Center offers medical and surgical care for patients with cataracts, glaucoma, presbyopia and other vision problems.
