Clarity Eye Group is the vision practice patients turn to for quality laser vision correction and eye care in Orange County. The board-certified eye surgeons at Clarity Eye Group have decades of collective experience and have performed tens of thousands of LASIK surgeries, consistently delivering superior visual outcomes. Thanks to their exceptional surgical training and skill, and commitment to patient care, the eye doctors at Clarity Eye Group have earned the trust and respect of their colleagues and patients from around the world.
LASIK involves creating a flap on the cornea and using an excimer laser to reshape the curvature of the cornea, restoring clear vision. While conventional LASIK uses a handheld surgical blade (called a microkeratome) to create the corneal flap, the eye surgeons at Clarity Eye Group perform all-laser LASIK using the Intralase femtosecond laser to create the corneal flap. Doing so minimizes the risks associated with manual surgical instruments and human error. The eye surgeons also specialize in Custom LASIK, which uses wavefront-guided technology to obtain a precise measure of the eye’s curvature that will guide the surgeon when reshaping the cornea. Once the corneal flap has been created, the eye surgeon uses the Wavefront Allegretto VISX CustomVue laser system to make the necessary visual corrections to the eye. Recovery with LASIK is very minimal and most patients notice an improvement in vision the day after surgery.
In addition to performing LASIK, the eye doctors at Clarity Eye Group offer PRK, ideal for patients whose corneas cannot withstand the creation of the flap made during LASIK. The eye doctors are also highly regarded cataract surgeons, offering the advanced no-stitch cataract technique and premium IOLs. In addition they offer comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for pterygium, dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and other eye conditions.
