W. Neil Willis, MD, FACS, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, School of Arts and Sciences. He completed his medical degree at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, where he was awarded an Academic Merit Scholarship eight times. He performed his residency in ophthalmology at the Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he served as chief resident his final year. He is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
