About Stanford Eye Laser Center

Dr. Edward Manche is director of Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the Stanford Eye Laser Center. This center incorporates the most advanced technology for laser vision correction. For LASIK, the newest in wavefront technology is used to measure the minute optical properties of each patient’s eyes. These measurements are then programmed into the laser system to ensure the highest precision.

IntraLASIK is also part of the Dr. Manche’s focus on quality. This technology uses a laser, instead of a blade, to create the “corneal flap” during the LASIK procedure, again maximizing precision and optimizing the visual outcome of each patient’s surgery.

In addition to LASIK, Stanford Eye Laser Center offers PRK, LASEK, and Corneal Inlays. For those highly myopic patients who do not qualify for LASIK, Dr Manche also now offers surgery with the Verisyse IOL. Dr. Manche can discuss with you the various options for refractive surgery and determine which best fits your needs.
