The highly skilled surgeons of Nevada Eye Consultants specialize in custom cataract surgery and offer three surgical options: premium cataract surgery, advanced refractive cataract surgery and standard cataract surgery. Each procedure is uniquely tailored to address the individual vision needs and preferences of each patient.

Premium cataract surgery is the best option for patients who wish to achieve clear vision at most distances without the need for eyeglasses or contact lenses. This procedure involves the use of intraocular lens implants (IOLs), which are implanted in the eye to replace the clouded lens, restoring visual clarity. At Nevada Eye Consultants, patients may choose from a range of IOLs, including multifocal AcrySof ReSTOR and Tecnis lenses, as well as the accommodating Crystalens.

Advanced refractive cataract surgery is the best option for patients who also suffer from astigmatism. During this procedure the surgeons of Nevada Eye Consultants use the Toric IOL to correct for astigmatism and improve the patient’s distance vision. However, some patients may require corrective eyewear for close-up vision.

After standard cataract surgery, patients may require corrective eyewear for both near and distance vision.

The surgeons of Nevada Eye Consultants also perform iLASIK and offer implantable contact lenses for patients who are not good candidates for laser eye surgery.

To schedule a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Chaffin, Dr. Chang, Dr. Engle or Dr. Morris and learn more about your vision correction options, please contact Nevada Eye Consultants at (888) 723-9284.
