Serving patients seeking cataract surgery in Orange County and the surrounding area

For more than 40 years, the board-certified ophthalmologists at Clarity Eye Group have been providing cataract surgery to patients in Orange County. They have advanced surgical training in the latest and most advanced methods and technology, including the no-stitch cataract surgery technique and premium intraocular lens placement. The cataract surgeons at Clarity Eye Group have collectively performed tens of thousands of successful cataract surgeries, helping patients enjoy sharp vision after cataracts.

Cataract surgery involves replacing the eye’s clouded natural lens (cataract) with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL) to restore clear vision. To do this, a small, self-sealing incision is made on the surface of the eye to access the capsule that holds the cloudy lens. Then, ultrasonic energy is used to soften and break up the cataract, which is subsequently removed using gentle suction. Next, a pre-selected IOL is precisely positioned in the eye. Clarity Eye Group offers a wide range of premium IOLs, including ReSTOR, Tecnis multifocal and Crystalens, which offer a natural range of vision at multiple distances and reduced dependence on glasses. Toric IOLs are also available to treat astigmatism in cataract patients.

Cataract surgery is a quick and extremely safe procedure. The procedure can be completed in about 20 minutes and most patients notice an improvement in their vision the day after surgery.

In addition to cataract surgery, Clarity Eye Group offers advanced LASIK techniques including wavefront LASIK and Custom LASIK to deliver precise and accurate visual outcomes. They also offer comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for pterygium, dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and other eye conditions.

To learn more about LASIK surgery, schedule a personal consultation with one of the leading laser vision correction surgeons at Clarity Eye Group. Please call (714) 842-0651 today.
