Cataract surgery with Crystalens HD intraocular lenses in Kansas City

Stephen Wiles, MD, FACS, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the founder of Wiles Eye Center, a state-of-the-art eye care facility specializing in cataract surgery. One of nation’s leading cataract surgeons, Dr. Wiles is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Wiles is proud to offer “no-stitch, no-patch” cataract surgery, an advanced cataract surgery procedure whereby the eye’s clouded lens is gently extracted through a small, self-sealing incision. Dr. Wiles uses a method called phacoemulsification to break up and remove the cataract. He then replaces the cataract with an intraocular lens implant (IOL) to maximize the eye’s natural vision. Patients at Wiles Eye Center have numerous intraocular lens options from which to choose, depending on their unique vision needs. This includes the AMO Tecnis Multifocal, Crystalens HD, Alcon ReSTOR + 3, Bausch and Lomb H60 or AO intraocular lenses.

The surgical team at Wiles Eye Center is committed to promoting lifelong clarity of vision through advanced cataract surgery and other effective vision correction procedures. Please contact Wiles Eye Center at (816) 455-2020 to learn if you are a candidate for cataract surgery in Kansas City.
