When performing LASIK, Dr. Mutyala uses either the Nidek CX-III or one of his wavefront-guided lasers, the VISX Star S4 and the Bausch & Lomb Zyoptix. These advanced laser platforms take precise measurements of the cornea in order to create a customized profile for each patient. The information gleaned from these measurements is used when calibrating the laser prior to correcting each eye. Dr. Mutyala’s patients benefit from his comprehensive training and extensive experience, as well as the institute’s advanced surgical equipment, the combination of which results in optimum visual outcomes.
