Providing cataract surgery with AcrySof ReSTOR, ReZoom or Crystalens IOLs in Sonoma, Solano, Napa and the surrounding area

Jay Bansal, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery. Dr. Bansal was one of the first ophthalmologists in the Bay Area to perform cataract surgery using the advanced Crystalens intraocular lens implants. Having performed more than 15,000 successful eye surgeries, he now serves as a leader and certified surgical trainer, teaching fellow ophthalmologists about advanced ophthalmologic technologies and techniques. As a testament to his surgical skills, Dr. Bansal was named a VISX Star Surgeon, as well as one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.

The surgical team at LaserVue Eye Center provides customized, compassionate care and advanced treatment methods to all patients undergoing cataract surgery. This includes the advanced “no needles, no stitch, no patch” method of cataract surgery, which restores vision while promoting minimal recovery time. During the procedure, Dr. Bansal carefully extracts the clouded lens and replaces it with an intraocular lens (IOL), which typically reduces or eliminates the patient’s dependence on glasses or contact lenses. LaserVue Eye Center offers AcrySof ReSTOR, ReZoom, and Crystalens multifocal IOLS, which correct both nearsightedness and farsightedness.

To schedule a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Bansal and learn more about your vision correction options, contact the LaserVue Eye Center at (800) 791-5691.
